Our volunteers play a vital role in every VCO performance.
We are extremely grateful to all who offer their time and talents.

Everything Counts!

Perform tasks such as mailing, tracking fundraising orders, collecting items for our silent auction, collecting ads for our concert programs, preparing concert programs, assisting with rehearsal and concert setup/teardown, selling Gala tickets, organizing fundraisers, etc.

Check in at the Parents lounge during rehearsal to see if any volunteering is needed, and watch for announcements in the weekly newsletter.

Let your creative flair flourish—help design flyers, postcards, invitations to promote VCO events.

Play with the big kids of media—develop and coordinate Press Releases and social media releases for the VCO and work with various media outlets to get the VCO message out.

Get involved with the many Fairfax Communities—develop and execute local promotional efforts.

Help make the VCO Website a beacon for the entire organization.

We welcome new volunteers!

Enjoy a great party? The VCO holds Musicales in prestigious homes and an annual Gala at the finest clubs in the Washington area. Learn the inner workings of memorable parties and have a great time doing it.

There are lots of bite-sized administrative tasks that help immensely, but don’t take a huge amount of time. We can talk about many of those.

There are also Board of Trustee positions that are more demanding, but also more rewarding. We would like to talk to interested people about the VCO Board.
