Mozart: Divertimento from String Trio in E-flat Major, K.563
Osman Kivrak: Uzun Hava for Violin and Viola
Beethoven: Serenade for String Trio in D Major, Op. 8

VCO Concertmaster Teri Lazar and her husband, Principal VCO Violist Osman Kivrak, will perform Kivrak’s composition for Violin and Viola, Uzun Haza, which was inspired by Turkish folk music.

Robert Oppelt, Principal Bassist, Musician of the NSO, will be featured soloist in Bach to Blues by John Clayton. VCO Principal Flute Nicolette Driehuys Oppelt, his wife, will join him to perform Oppelt’s Pas de Deux for Flute and Double Bass.


Concerts are 3 – 4 PM

Bring a blanket or bag chair and enjoy the sounds of principal players and guest artists from the VCO in the beautiful setting of the Korean Bell Garden. A different ensemble will play each week. While picnicking is not permitted, please feel free to bring a beverage and snack or purchase some in the gift shop. Alcohol is prohibited.

Please note: It is approximately an 8-minute walk from the Visitor’s Center to the concert location.
